Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refunds/Credits:
If you would like to cancel and/or change your registration for a class, you must notify ZTS at 410-988-2201. If you do not immediately reach a representative, please leave a detailed voice message with the date and time of your call and the title and date of the course in question. Students may chose either to cancel and receive a partial refund, or a student may receive a ZTS credit to attend a course of the same value on another date. ZTS credits are valid for one year from the date of issue and they cannot be redeemed for cash.
If you need to canel a course, refunds will be issued based on the date of class cancellation, as follows:
- Cancellation before first class: 90% refund or credit
- Cancellation after first class: 50% refund or credit
- Cancellation after second class: No refund or credit
No refunds or credits will be issued for classes not attended.
Medical Emergencies:In cases of medical emergencies, a refund or credit will be issued for the remaining balance of class fees when you present a medical certificate or physician’s letter.
Low Enrollment Cancellation
Although we make every effort to promote classes scheduled in our training center, Zollicoffer Training Services reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In case of a class cancellation, any student who has paid for his/her class will have the option of rescheduling into another class at no additional charge, or receiving a full refund, less service charge (10% of course cost).
Student Cancellation
If a student cancels within 24 hours of registration, they are entitled to a 100% refund less service charge. After the 24-hour period after initial registration, a 50% cancellation fee applies to the student in the cancellation of their class, and is deducted from the initial deposit or full payment. This policy only applies to cancellations before the class has happened. If the student does not show up, or did not call prior to a class, then the Student No-Show Policy below applies. If ZTS cancels a class, the customer will receive a new training date at no additional charge or may request a full refund (less a 10% service charge) at the approval of ZTS.
Emergency/Weather Cancellations
If a class is cancelled due to severe weather, instructor illness/injury, family emergencies or anything else that might be considered to be an emergency, registered students will receive priority enrollment in the next available class. If there are no available classes in the next two weeks within a 30 miles radius of the customer, then Zollicoffer Training Services will issue a full refund (less a 10% service charge).
We do not send out instructors in weather emergencies, as indicated by the National Weather Service (e.g. Tornado watches, Tornado warnings, Hurricane watches, Hurricane warning, and Snow Emergencies). If a class is cancelled due to a weather emergency, and if a student wishes to cancel or not take the next available date, that student may receive a full refund (less service charge) of the class cost. Zollicoffer Training Services unfortunately has no control over cancellation due to weather emergencies.
Registration & Attendance Policies
Student Transfer
At any time before a class begins, a registered student may transfer that registration to any other person at no additional charge. That intent, however, must be communicated to Zollicoffer Training Services in advance of the class or will not be eligible for transfer.
Student No-Show
With a no-show, the registration fee is forfeited altogether, meaning the student cannot receive a refund. Special exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis due to emergencies and other circumstances. If a student does NOT show up to a class, and has not rescheduled, they are considered a no-show.
Class Environment
Classes will only be held in a smoke-free environment.
Outstanding Balance Policy
If an organization or a client carries an outstanding balance 24 hours within the start of the class, they will be denied access to the class and eligible for a 90% refund of registration cost already paid. If the balance is still outstanding once the class begins, the Student No-Show Policy above with be applied.
